Description
My name is Haben. I am an energetic, honest and caring person who takes pride in my ability to empathise with others. I am good at organising and time management. I find a great sense of satisfaction in caring for others and working with vulnerable people. I worked as a carer for six years. The individuals I cared for had a different range care needs from minimum physical and mental support to highly complex physical and mental health needs. During my employment as a carer I have been able to learn to administer medication, use hoist and other equipments. I was also able to take key worker roles. My key worker role included
•taking responsibility of the general wellbeing of the service user. •Attending appointments.
• Personal care.
•Going out for leisure and entertainment.
In addition to this, I was trained to carry out basic life support incase of emergency. The training consisted of •manual handling

•resuscitation
•hygiene and food handling.
Considering all the experience and training I was able to gain during my career as a carer I believe I can handle challenging situations as well as effectively work independently or as a team member.
